We are in a position to support you throughout the process leading to the implementation of a customized security solution to suit your needs. Whether your concerns are of a strategic or organizational nature, whether they relate to processes or technology itself, our specialists can help you. You decide at what level you want us involved.

In the field, we help you implement solutions that are in compliance with the criteria established by your organization regarding:

• Information availability. This aspect of information security is often overlooked. Yet, the unavailability of the information necessary to ensure the proper functioning of an organization can have major consequences on its capacity to adequately operate. Your network is no longer working and your employees’ work is thus slowed-down or interrupted? This is an aspect of security.
• Information integrity. The information that an organization owns is liable to loose all its value if unauthorized individuals are able to modify it. For example, how could an organization’s senior managers sign an annual report without being absolutely sure that it contains honest information?
• Information confidentiality. This aspect of security is frequently the first one to be addressed. However, it is often partially examined: your local network can be very well protected against external threats, but what happens to the confidentiality of your information when an employee leaves the office with his laptop?

IS values four intervention modes for its clients:

• Strategic advice. You have questions regarding information security and you don’t know how to address this issue? Security mechanisms are in place but you are not sure they are appropriate or up-to-date? You have questions on security related considerations, either from a technological, legal or human resources management point of view? IS can provide advice on the matter.
• Assistance. You wish to remain in charge of your information security project and need assistance from specialized resources to support you on certain aspects of the project? You need specialists to occasionally assist you with the maintenance of your infrastructures? We can provide this type of support.
• Specific project delivery. You wish to hire external resources to perform a specific information security mandate? It will be a pleasure to help you.
• Outsourcing. You wish to outsource all or part of the activities related to the implementation, management, support, maintenance and monitoring of a information security solution? We have the necessary resources.

Lastly, IS’s interventions are based on a business model, rather than a specific standard or procedure.
