A workstation integrity check system makes it possible to ensure that any workstation that connects to an organization’s network is properly configured and properly functioning. Upon connection, a mechanism is triggered which verifies if the workstation’s operating system, antivirus and firewall are in good order, functional and up-to-date. Access to the network is denied if the workstation is deemed unreliable. Thus, a user (employee, partner, supplier, consultant, etc.) whose workstation is not compliant with your policies will be denied access to your network.
